Micah was a man who had lived life to the fullest because he had no choice. When the doctors told him of his illness, and told him there was no cure, all he could do was hold on until the end. It was only when a perfectly dressed good looking woman knocked on his door and made him the offer of his wildest dreams did he take heart.
He was not a gambling man but he took one hell of a chance on a new company who created a new cryogenic procedure that may, or may not, keep him in stasis until he could be cured. The odds were stacked heavily against him waking up…the odds were stacked against him living. He knew the deck was stacked in favor of everyone but him. But if the bet paid off, he would be on easy street for the rest of his life.
What he never anticipated was a future so radically different from anything he could have imagined. Nor could he have guessed that he would have to rely on the very morays and standards that he held close in his time…to save the future of mankind.
